Dealing with a chronic illness can be daunting. As a Believer in Jesus Christ, we have Him to walk with us. He makes the task less daunting.

Today’s Bible Verse:

Colossians 2:6-7 (KJV), “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”

What the Verses Mean:

First, we are told who our faith must be in. It must be in Jesus Christ. If you haven’t accepted Him as your Lord and Savior why not do it today? After accepting Christ we are to walk with Him. Our faith needs to spend time with Him in His Word, that is the Bible as well as in Bible study and under Biblical teaching. The result of being a Believer, knowing and applying God’s Word to our life with thanksgiving will have the chronic illness be less daunting.

Praying Using the Verses:

  1. Heaven Father, thank you for sending Your Son Jesus Christ.
  2. Lord Jesus help us to have the desire to and to walk with you every day.
  3. We pray that we would be established in the faith as You have taught.
  4. Help us to be abounding with Thanksgiving.
